Proactiv Solution

Proactiv® is a skin care system developed by dermatologists Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields. They have focussed their practice on helping people with skin care conditions such as acne control and manage the acne in safe and effective ways.

 

The Proactiv System

Proactiv is system of skin care products that include a three-step process:

1. The first step is the application of a renewing cleanser that both exfoliates and removes problematic bacteria deep in the pores.
2. The second step is a revitalizing toner that also removes any dead skin cells as well as provides an alcohol-free skin conditioner to prevent drying.
3. The third step is the use of a repairing lotion that continues to promote the healing of existing blemishes and decreases the severity and number of future breakouts.

There are additional products available but the basic package is the three-step skin care system.

Proactiv is easy to use and works for all different skin types. There are additional products that help with oil control and also provide sun protection for daily wear. There is also a new refining face mask designed to soothe and help tone the face and help with overall skin texture.
